Richmond’s revitalized Arts District will capture your imagination with a mix of under-the-radar restaurants, inspiring art galleries, and historically significant architecture.

The tasty fun begins when you meet your knowledgeable, local guide. They will lead you on a gastronomical journey where you will sample delicious food from several delicious spots, meet passionate chefs and business owners, and hear the stories that make this one of Richmond’s most defining neighborhoods. But most of all, they’ll make sure you have fun doing it.

Spanning parts of Monroe Ward and Jackson Ward, you guide will take you to 6 different cafés, restaurants, and shops. This culinary adventure has something for everyone and will introduce you to the unique and delicious tastes of Richmond, Virginia!

Tour highlights:

  • Visit up to 6 venues to taste one of their best dishes. You will get more than enough food for a meal.
  • Meet the chef’s and owners behind downtown Richmond’s food scene.
  • Learn about Jackson Ward’s unique architecture, the weather indicator that once marked Richmond’s highest point, and the story behind Grace Street.

  • Walking tours will end within 0.5 miles of the starting point.
  • The tour size is limited to 14 participants.
  • Be sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
  • Please advise of dietary restrictions and food allergies when you reserve your tour time. The tour provider will do their best to accommodate your needs.
  • This tour runs rain or shine. If the weather is unsafe, the tour will be modified or cancelled and appropriate considerations regarding refunding/rescheduling will be taken.
  • Gratuity for your tour guide is not included and is appreciated if you enjoy your experience.
