Kansas City Zombie Scavenger Hunt

The world is in chaos and zombies outnumber the living 10 to 1. You are part of a small colony struggling to survive. Zombie Scavenge Hunt leads you on a scavenger hunt in downtown Kansas City. You and your friends will search for items needed to survive the Zombie Apocalypse.

The Zombie Scavengers dedicated app will give you a list of items you need to find. You'll scavenge for much needed supplies like food, vehicles, bandages, and more. You will have 1-hour to locate and take pictures of these items. The more you find, the more points you’ll earn to increase your chances of surviving. Perform zombie style challenges and answer trivia questions along the way to be receive even more points.

Its going to be challenging! Rival colonies are roaming around, and they will take what you found if you are not careful.

• No actual zombies are involved!
• Fun for adults and children.
• You can play at a time that is works best for you.
• This is a private experience played by you and your team.

How it works:

• Registration instructions will be provided to you once you have activated your Breakaway Experiences' certificate.
• When you are ready to play, you’ll register with the experience provider and download the app called "GooseChase" onto your smartphone.
• You’ll go to your starting location at Barney Allis Plaza  on the day / time you want to play. Follow the directions provided to you in the Zombie Scavenger app.
• You'll be given a list of items such to find on the app. You can find these survival items in any order you'd like.
• Once you locate an item, you’ll take a picture to prove you found it. You are not required to purchase anything during the scavenger hunt.
• The more items you find, the more points you earn and increase your odds of survival.
• During the game, a remote guide / host will be following your progress via the App. Via the chat feature in the app, the remote host can help you if you need assistance.

• 1 hour with a remote interactive survival guide / host.

When:

• Zombie Scavenger Hunt customer support hours are Tuesday - Sunday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
• If you prefer, you can play anytime, outside the customer support hours.

Duration: 1-hour

Need to know:

• You can have up to 10 people on a team. The ideal size for a group / team is between 4 and 6 people.
• You can divide into teams if you are a large group and play against each other to see who finds all the survival items the fastest!
• You download the scavenger hunt app onto as many phones as you'd like.
• To play the game you will need an Android or iOS or Smartphone with data plan.
• Nobody will be physically there with you during the game, dressed as Zombies. Everything is done via your smartphone.
• The game is played outdoors in public spaces.
• The experience is wheelchair accessible. It is an open scavenger hunt, where you explore Kansas City on your own terms. There is no specific route, therefore you don’t have to go anywhere that is not wheelchair accessible. You won't be asked to find anything that could not be accessible in a wheelchair.

This is a fun experience gift for someone who enjoys scavenger hunts and puzzles … and a little bit of the Zombie thing!
