Knoxville Zombie Scavenger Hunt

The more you find, the greater the chances you’ll survive the apocalypse in Tennessee.

With the whole world in chaos and zombies outnumbering the living 10 to 1. Small colonies of the living are struggling to subsist. With your team of up to 10 people, you'll explore downtown Knoxville for much needed supplies like bandages, vehicles, food, and more.

The Zombie Scavenger Hunt's dedicated app will give you a list of items you need to find to survive a zombie apocalypse. You will have 60-minutes to find and take pictures of these items. The more items you find, the more points you’ll earn to increase your chances of surviving the apocalypse. Perform zombie style challenges and answer trivia questions along the way to be rewarded even more points.

Rival colonies are everywhere. They will take what you worked hard to find if you are not careful.

• No actual zombies are involved in the scavenger hunt!
• You can play at a time convenient to you.
• A private experience, just for you and your team.
• A game great for children and adults.

How it works:

• Registration instructions will be provided to you once you have activated your Breakaway Experiences' certificate.
• When you are ready to play, you’ll register with the experience provider and download the app called "GooseChase" onto your smartphone.
• You’ll go to your starting location, Knoxville's Charles Krutch Park on the day / time you want to play. Follow the directions provided to you in the Zombie Scavenger app.
• You'll be given a list of items such to find on the app. You can find these survival items in any order you'd like.
• Once you locate an item, you’ll take a picture to prove you found it. You are not required to purchase anything during the scavenger hunt.
• The more items you find, the more points you earn and increase your odds of survival.
• You won’t be alone. During the game, a remote guide / host will be following your progress via the App. The remote host is there to help you in case you need assistance.

When:

• Zombie Scavenger Hunt customer support hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 9am-5pm.
• If you prefer, you can play anytime, outside the customer support hours.

Duration: 1-hour

Need to know:

• You can have up to 10 people on a team. The optimal size for a group is between 4 and 6 people.
• If you are playing in a larger group, you can divide into teams and play against each other to see who finds all the survival items the quickest!
• You can put the scavenger hunt app on as many phones as you'd like.
• To play the game you will need an iOS or Android Smartphone with data plan.
• Nobody will be physically there with you during the game, dressed as Zombies. Everything is done through your smartphone.
• The game is played all outdoors in public spaces.
• The experience is wheelchair accessible. It is an open scavenger hunt, where you can explore the city on your own terms. There is no specific route, therefore you don’t have to go anywhere that is not wheelchair accessible, nor will you be asked to find anything that could not be accessible in a wheelchair.
