St. Louis Zombie Scavenger Hunt

The Zombie Scavenger Hunt dedicated app will provide you with a list of survival items you need to find. You'll explore downtown St. Louis scavenging for much needed supplies like food, vehicles, bandages, and more. You will have 1-hour to take locate and take pictures of these items. The more you find, the more points you’ll earn to improve your chances of surviving the apocalypse. Complete zombie style challenges and answer trivia questions along the way to be receive even more points.

It won’t be easy! Rival colonies are all over St. Louis, and they will take what you collected if you are not careful.

• No actual zombies are involved in the scavenger hunt!
• You can play at a time that is convenient to you.
• This is a private experience played by you and your team.
• A great game for children and adults.

How it works:

• Registration instructions will be provided to you once you have activated your Breakaway Experiences' certificate.
• When you are ready to play, you’ll register with the experience provider and download the app called "GooseChase" onto your smartphone.
• You’ll go to your starting location at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial in Gateway Arch National Park 
  on the day / time you want to play. Follow the directions provided to you in the Zombie Scavenger app.
• You'll be given a list of items such to find on the app. You can find these survival items in any order you'd like.
• Once you locate an item, you’ll take a picture to prove you found it. You are not required to purchase anything during the scavenger hunt.
• The more items you find, the more points you earn and increase your odds of survival.
• During the game, a remote guide / host will be following your progress via the App. Via the chat feature in the app, the remote host can help you in case you need anything.

What's included:

• Self-guided scavenger hunt style walking activity.
• 1 hour with a remote interactive survival guide.

When:

• Zombie Scavenger Hunt customer support hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
• If you prefer, you can play anytime, outside the customer support hours.

Duration: 1-hour

Need to know:

• You can have up to 10 people on a team. The ideal size for a group / team is between 4 and 6 people.
• You can divide into teams if you are a large group and play against each other to see who finds all the survival items the fastest!
• You download the scavenger hunt app onto as many phones as you'd like.
• To play the game you will need an iOS or Android Smartphone with data plan.
• Nobody will be physically there with you during the game dressed as Zombies. Everything is done via your smartphone.
• The game is played all outdoors in public spaces.
• The experience is wheelchair accessible. It is an open scavenger hunt, where you can explore the city on your own terms. There is no specific route, therefore you don’t have to go anywhere that is not wheelchair accessible, nor will you be asked to find anything that could not be accessible in a wheelchair.
