You won't know whether to laugh or scream on the Beyond Good and Evil Ghost Tour!

Following your professional, entertaining guide, you'll venture to Savannah's most haunted locations, many of them loosely related to the book, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. If you're a fan of this book and you are up for a ghost tour, this tour is the one you need to take!

You'll visit some of Savannah's most stately homes, such as the Mercer-Williams House and 432 Abercorn along with a haunted cemetery or two.

Your ghostly tour begins at the front gate of Colonial Park Cemetery.  Your guide will lead you through the sinister streets of Savannah's forgotten and recount the not to be talked about cultures: Voodoo and Hoodoo. They will explain the influence these cultures have had on Savannah. Still practiced in Savannah, usually underground (not literally underground), Hoodoo and Voodoo continues to be associated with many of the hauntings taking place in Savannah.

Demons are no stranger to Savannah. Beneath the beautiful facades of Savannah’s historic homes, many evil spirits dwell. Some people believe spirits may be demons. We'll let you make up your own mind. Good luck sleeping afterwards.

A few of the possible haunted stops along the tour:

  • Colonial Park Cemetery: Colonial Park Cemetery is where visitors most often experience the paranormal. Some of the local paranormal enthusiasts refer Colonial Park Cemetery as ‘Paranormal Central.'
  • Mercer-Williams House: Considered the city's most mysterious building, the Mercer-Williams House has experienced many tragedies. The Mercer-Williams today is most associated with its infamous mentioning in the John Berendt novel and movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
  • Hamilton-Turner Inn: You'll hear ghostly tales about the book Midnight in the Garden and Evil. The sounds of children laughing, billiard balls popping off a ghostly table and rolling across the floor, a man smoking a cigar on the rooftop, and a Civil War Soldier wandering the halls at night are just a few of the countless reports of paranormal occurrences in the Inn’s long history.
  • 432 Abercorn:  This haunted house has captured the imagination of paranormal fans for decades with many stories eerie swirling around it. Which ones are true and which ones are merely legends?
  • Calhoun Square:   From suicides and murders and to mysterious disappearances, this haunted square has been scarred and left with a lasting presence, exuding a dark and somber energy.
