The NuLu District: Louisville’s trendiest neighborhoods. Historic brick buildings painted with vibrant murals line the streets, eclectic shops feature locally made goods, art galleries, and hip local restaurants and bars pour craft beer and bourbon.

Butchertown: One of Louisville’s oldest neighborhoods, this was the city’s original meatpacking district with butcher shops dominating the area in the 1800s. Today, Butchertown is in the middle of a renaissance and experiencing an influx of tasty restaurants, the city’s only brandy distillery, chic boutiques, and a state-of-the-art soccer stadium.

  • This tour is open to all ages. Children are welcome to join this tour. That said, there is a lot of walking, standing and listening, and the menu includes some food that contains alcohol.
  • Please advise of any dietary restriction or food allergy when reserving your tour day/time with the tour provider.
  • Vegetarians and nut allergies can be accommodated. For gluten-free and other food allergies, the tour provider will do their best to accommodate but cannot guarantee. Those who don't drink alcohol can be accommodated.
  • The tour ends about a block away from where it begins.
  • This personalized, small-group tour will have a maximum of 12 participants,
  • This tour is wheelchair friendly.
  • This experience runs rain or shine. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • Restaurant tax and gratuities are included. Tour guide gratuities are graciously accepted at your discretion.
