The Highlands neighborhood is one of the oldest in Louisville and is home to elegant architecture, delicious food, and captivating stories. Historic Victorian homes branch off of the quirky Bardstown Road thoroughfare, lined with eclectic shops, vibrant murals, and hip local bars and restaurants extending all the way to Bourbon country.

As you follow your knowledgeable and entertaining guide along some of Louisville’s oldest and most iconic streets, you’ll get to taste (and drink) delicious local specialties, visit Cave Hill Cemetery, the final resting place of Colonel Sanders and Muhammad Ali, sip bourbon in Louisville’s oldest bar, try a dish inspired by the Hot Brown in Muhammed Ali’s former boxing gym, trace the footsteps of the immigrants who moulded the city, and admire opulent Victorian homes and historic architecture near stunning Cherokee Park.

As you make your way through the historic Cherokee Triangle and Original Highlands, you’ll absorb the history of Louisville one bite at a time, so come hungry and curious for a tour that is the perfect blend of tastes and tales.
